Membership

Eligibility

Any person xxxxxxxxx to become a member of the Association.
An individual may join either as a Life Member or a Student Member.
Membershipxxxxx year commencing on 1st April and ending on 31st March.
The Association xxxxx directory of all members and their profiles.

Life Member

Any person interested in the activities of the Association who pays a lump sum of ₹3,000 may become a Life Member.

A Life Member shall have the right to:

Attend all meetings of the Association.
Vote at all meetings.
Propose candidates and contest for elected offices.
Receive Association newsletters free of charge (except specially priced publications decided by the CEC).

A Student Member may upgrade to Life Membership by paying the balance amount of ₹1,000 after graduation by submitting the prescribed application to the Central Executive Committee (CEC). Upon approval, the member shall enjoy all privileges of a Life Member.

Student Member

Any student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree at xxxxxx is eligible to apply for Student Membership.

The membership fee shall be ₹4,000 as a lump sum for the period of study.

Student Members are entitled to:

Attend meetings of the Association.
Receive Association newsletters.

Student Members shall not be eligible to vote or contest for elected office.

Resignation

Any member or office bearer desiring to resign shall submit a written request to the President. The resignation shall become effective only after approval by the Central Executive Committee (CEC).

Termination

The Central Executive Committee (CEC) may terminate the membership of any member whose continuation is considered detrimental to the interests and reputation of the Association. The decision of the CEC shall be final.

Readmission

A member who has resigned or whose membership has been terminated may apply for readmission by submitting a written request together with the prescribed fresh membership fee. The application shall be considered by the Central Executive Committee (CEC).
